Brilliant Performance by Young Teachers of Our College in Lecturing Contest
The 2017 LZU Lecturing Contest (humanities and social sciences) was held in room 105 of Xinglin building in Medical Campus. 22 young teachers from Departments of Humanities and Social Sciences took part in the contest, where some leaders from Dean’s Office and Center for Faculty Development, teaching directors, veteran judges from arts colleges, teachers and students delegates were present and drew on each other’ s experience. In the autumn of 2016, our college recommended three young teachers, based on all lecturing contests in all majors and Center of Foreign Language Education, to compete according to the note of 2016-2017 LZU Lecturing Contest among Young Teachers.
The participants presented their syllabus, teaching design, teaching process, teaching reflection, etc. Our three teachers, with well-organized PPT and proper teaching attitudes, had proficient performance in teaching content and class control, winning experts’ unanimous praise. Finally, they achieved great success through competition: An Xin from Center of Foreign Language Education won the championship; Chen Yuhong ranked eighth, and Gao Xiangjing hit the ninth prize.
